Share The Artist

How do we give back?

For every $10 you spend in our community we give $1 back to children in developing countries..

Joi's Story

Share the artist is a for profit company but we are strong believers in giving back to children in developing countries. "It takes a community to raise our children but it takes ALL of us to make that difference"  Joi Faltesek the founder of Share The Artist travels every 2 years to give back. This has been her mission since she was 5 yrs old.

At a young age she experienced life with less as she was also an orphan in the Philippines.  Dirty streets, limited food, and a packed orphanage. Yet, she is fortunate to say her story ends with a happy ending, she was adopted at the age of 2 yrs old to a lovely couple from Texas and Bolivia!

In 2005 Joi had an opportunity to find her real mother in the Philippines but after arriving to the orphanage with limited information the connection never happened.

Joi's personal thoughts: traveling through the Philippines warmed my heart to a world I do not remember, holding this baby orphan in my arms I was compelled to make a difference, to someday return and give back

Although I never met this amazing woman who I call my mother our worlds did collided when I had my son. The irony of this story was at this moment in time my son was 2 yrs old which was the same age I was when I was adopted and I felt completely blessed that I could share a small part of my past with him.

~Join our community and together WE can make a difference~

In the spring of 2011 Joi will make her third trip overseas to give back
